Reagan invented the borrow and spend insanity that is burying us now. Arnold is using the same technique of transferring current operating costs into long term debt in California. Gopher and Sonny were good guys. Gopher dropped out when he discovered how bankrupt his party was. Sonny died before he could do much, but he was a decent moderate Republican. Murphy was a joke and soon voted out. Shirley Temple had the Good Ship Lollypop sink on her. And I don't know a danged thing about Cooter. I don't think any Democratic actor has run for serious office, but I could be wrong.
