His wife was for show. The residents of Woodbridge, of which he was mayor, all knew that. She played along when he "came out."

This was definitely a case where the guy wouldn't have married a woman if he didn't have to appear to be a "family man."

That's irrelevant. Tom McGreevy cheated on his wife and cheated the whole state of NJ. It just happened to be a homosexual affair, but would it have made a difference if the affair was hetero?


Such absurdity.........ony in America. McGreevy's sexuality nor his adultery is the reason for his resignation. He's under investigation as is some of his friends. Plus his boyfriend was blackmailing him.

There is the definite appearance of cronism as well as claims of nepotism .........whether its true or not, time will tell but his sexuality and adultery are an excuse to cover the real reasons: poor, possibly illegal behavior.
