The Democrats are in worse shape then I thought if NPR shows Kerry with only a 5 point lead. I always assumed they only polled their own donors!! Hehe... I lost all respect for them when I called the Diane Rheem show from DC a good 10 years or so ago after Diane made a snide comment about gun control. The screener asked me what I wanted to comment on and when I told him (through clenched teeth) they left me on hold for 1/2 hour till the program came to an end. What was funny about it though was that no one else called about any subject for that half hour. So there I was on hold while Diane was begging people to call.
