The subject of his heroism may be in dispute...but his service was honorable....35 years later I think the practical point of view is that the issue is unlikely to be definitively resolved......the problem every military man should have with Kerry is the way he betrayed his comrades upon his return and the way his statements were used to aid the enemy and torture prisoners of war.....
