The electoral vote count will move back to Kerry's favor or back into a tie very soon.

The SmearVets temporarily fooled some people (and got way too much media coverage) but people are already realizing it was all a pack of lies. Therefore we have a backlash in progress now. The hurricaine also helped Bush in Florida but that will pass. Kerry's next charge will come next week a full scale assault on Bush's lies and failures. Then come the debates where if I were Bush I'd duck and cover.

Also, I don't know which polls you're looking at but ignore the GOP pollster Strategic Vision. Some of the electoral maps include those polls and they are biased toward Bush.

Right now we have an exact tie with Bush back ahead in Florida. That means it's anyone's race. But Bush has set himself up for a big backlash against his Iraq, counterterror and Guard records. He told us a lot of lies about those three things and his butt is hanging out there ready to be spanked hard.
