Sorry, I have no sympathy with that. Bush did not "make up" Saddam Hussein. Clinton had similar intelligence on Hussein, and it became a matter of national policy in 1998 to bring about regime change in Iraq. Similarly, the first attack on the World Trade Center, which, by the way, was an attack on the continental United States, and only incompetence saved us from more damage, occurred almost a decade before the second, and Al- Qaida had been attacking other US assets abroad throughout the '90s. Bush was neither rash nor arrogant. We had dithered long enough.
