Kerry regrets his Gulf War vote and has said so. So he isn't perfect. Big deal. You can also be the Gulf War changed Kery's outlook. Since then he's been a lot more moderate and hawkish. But look at what Bush Sr. did back then. He did the hard work in diplomacy to unite the world. GW did just the opposite and we are paying for it now. GW ignored his father's wise advice in fact. Cheney and Bush have also made mistakes in their voting records. But the difference is, Cheney and Bush are also dishonest, corrupt and misrepresent themselves as for the people and soldiers. Their record shows they are on the side of the few, the rich, the polluters, oil dealers and arms merchants. That is a big difference. They are not what they say they are, they are far rightwingers in bed with the big corporate interests. Their record over the last four years reflects this perfectly.
