That is such shameful BS. trying to revive the myth that Americans spat on returning vets back from Nam. When? Where? I was there and never say anything like that, even from far left radicals. Maybe a few isolated events but almost never. The pain deep down inside Vets was because they were not met with parades. And neither are the vets back from Iraq. And why not? because it wasn't WWII. We were not attacked or even thratened. We were not defending ourselves. And both wars are/were highly questionable, arguably immoral and started based on lies and corruption at the top. Quit trying to use the vets are your cannon fodder for your rightwing propaganda. Vets really resent being used in this fashion. Also, there are all types of Nam vets. Some are anti-war, some are pro-war most are inbetween. Respect them and leave them alone. And quit listening to the 1 in 100,000 who lie to us that Kerry was a traitor. He wasn't. He was a true hero, and a very honest one at that. It took balls oif steel to do what Kerry did both in combat and back home. Bush and Cheney were by comparison complete cowards. You know, you call me a liberal (only part true) but I remember greatly admiring any vet coming home from battle. I knew they endured nightmarish situations but deeply respected them for their service. I'm probably typical of democrats. I highly respect our servicemen. What I don't resopect is liars and profiteers at the top, the very ones whom Michael Moore exposes by the way, while he honors the grunts and their families. See the film and you'll find out.
