I can certainly understand and respect that.

But, so many vote for Bush for reasons that make no sense. He is NOT a Republican; Republicans have prided themselves on fiscal conservatism, smaller government, less control over personal affairs, and a light hand internationally. He has TERRIBLE results, and yet claims 'Results Matter'. He is divisive, yet uninformed. He takes pride in avoiding reading. He cannot carry on an unscripted statement of policy or debate without sticking four or five feet into his mouth. He stubbornly refuses to recognize both his failures and the failures of his staff. He is loyal to the point of lunacy. He is seemingly borderline obsessive-compulsive; he missed Guiliani's speech in real time because of his manic need for a consistent bedtime. He comes from a totally disfunctional family, one that refused to hold a funeral for a three year old daughter who died of leukemia and went golfing the next day.

Now, don't get me wrong; all of our President's have had quirks. But, Bush's combination of personality disorder, failures as President, and inability to recognize what doesn't work is an insane combination for a President.
