And there are a number of others out there, like Gen. Tommy Franks and Gen. Norman Schwartzkopf, Ret., who think Bush is just the man to lead us for the next 4 years. Tommy Franks does not like Bush, but when he sees the blood on his hands of 960 Americans he has to tow the line and suck it up. Tommy goofed up with our soldier's and Marine's lives. Schwartzkopf lives down here, and he does not like George Bush Jr. period. And Al Gore says GFY to you Punky Brewster

there will always be partisans, and those parties addicted to the wasteful spending tossed their way thanks to the complete destruction of the federal budget in the Bush term (a surplus that took 10 years to build). But most folks aren't buying a second Bush term, which is why all the money in the world can't buy him even even poll numbers with a charisma-less opponent like Kerry. Not that I mind no charisma, I'll take substance over style right now, but Bush's future looks pretty grim given his incumbency and the amt of $$ he has spent to buy his way into the white house in 04.
