<Why don't you call him President Child Molester? It'll get a bigger rise out of folks and it's just as accurate.

//President AWOL//

I have never seen even the slightest hint that President AWOL is even the slightest bit interested in child molestation. Are you saying you have some smoke, if not fire, to suggest that's the case? I would be amazed.

He doesn't seem to me to be that sort of person but I'm open to any suggestions.

I don't think it would get a rise. The accusation would be defamatory and the accuser would be rightly treated with contempt.

Now, as to the President AWOL label, there is definitely some grist to the mill. I won't revisit all the stuff regarding his avoidance of Vietnam via Dad's political presence, to get into a cushy number. But I'm not referring just to his fun time flying fighter aircraft and missing a few days on the job. Where was he when the reports on likely terrorist strikes came in to him? Clinton said he was disengaged during the handover [I can imagine him not being much interested in anything Slick Willie had to say so threw out the baby with the bathwater]. He downgraded the importance of that Osama stuff. He also isn't too concerned about Osama. "He's irrelevant", apparently. He might not be irrelevant in another week. If Al Q does it again on 911, just to show they can, and it would be quite a good time to pull the trigger, we'll see how irrelevant Osama is to President AWOL then.

While Saddam was not such a great guy, it would have been a much better idea to keep the UN pressure on, get the NUN established, instead of obsessing about the stupid PNAC, and pour the military resources into Afghanistan and really nail that place down.

By then, a year or two would have gone by and the AWOL WMDs would have been easier to deal with and might have been determined to not exist, and Saddam might have been no big deal as a threat to the USA. The NUN could have been lined up ready to deal with Iraq and Saddam on a less dramatically militaristic basis.

There wasn't much about Osama during the Republican convention so far, if what I read is true. Why not? He's still at large and the old dead or alive, with us or against us, run but not hide bluster is still unfulfilled.

I'm not as sanguine as President AWOL seems to be on Al Q's and Osama's intentions for 911 anniversary celebrations. I'd be treating it as a guerilla war and I'd be putting in a lot of hours a day to stymie any planned attack.

Libya, Pakistan, Iran, Taleban, Osama, Syria, Chechnya, are likely to be nuclear buddies, along with North Korea. Neither would I be surprised if China isn't egging North Korea on to keep a distraction up and to provide another front during conflict over Taiwan. Call me a conspiracy theorist. I think there really is an Islamic Jihad conspiracy, which was once linked with the IRA, which was hooked right back into the USA and maybe it would have been better to have Milosevic stay in charge of Yugoslavia as it was rather than fomenting revolution there.
