>With all of those "nuances," there is no way any American can feel exactly the way Kerry feels. Personally, I think most Americans passionately believe in something. Kerry just comes across as a guy who believes in nothing but hindsight. At least to me. Not to me. For instance, I think that I know more people who say "I don't personally believe in abortion, but I believe that it's a woman's right" than those that actually feel the way I do or the way you do. Kerry says the same thing. I believe strongly about things, you believe strongly about things... when I talk about how strongly I feel about things, even with fellow Dems, I get told to shut up. As much as I disagree with you, I'd rather talk about this stuff with you than with most people because you actually have opinions! -Z
