Several of the speakers explained Bush's achievements quite well. Explanations helped a lot, I think, for people to see through the fog of the DNC convention.

But what would John Kerry, International Man of Nuance, have done?

"....Secret Service agents and Chilean security guards scuffled outside a dinner for Bush and other leaders at the annual Asia-Pacific summit.

The Chileans had blocked Bush's bodyguards from entering the dinner with him.

Bush ultimately reached across a crowd of Chileans, grabbed his lead agent, Nick Trotta, and pulled him into the building.

The incident, shown repeatedly on television worldwide, was an unlikely episode in an otherwise staid gathering of 21 Pacific Rim leaders at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit."
