Liberals have extremely short memories. Just a few mos ago they were thrilled at the prospect of a Kerry/McCain ticket. Today they consider him a political animal.

McCain was involved in the Lincoln Home Savings Fiasco, in its early stages. He was however smarter than others and distanced himself quickly.
