Since you are talking so tough now, why didn't you suggest a couple of years ago that Tom Dashle does not accept his vote to be the majority leader (out of some alleged principle) and remain in minority from 2001 to 2003?

Zell Miller has been way out of step with the national Dem party for years, but Dems were glad to have him in order to keep Georgia governorship and Senate seat.

you probably was too young, but there use to be a lot of conservative democrats in the party. Only recently have the liberal socialist hijacked the party by buying votes with their class warfare.
