However, the Canadian channel reported that the violence is much more significant than what I've seen on NBC. One of my friends who's been down there and was protesting for a bit says that that's not true. However, he almost got arrested for just carrying a sign because the policeman said he wasn't walking fast enough, so he was being obstructive. The Canadian said the same thing.....that people were getting arrested for being on the sidewalk when they should be in the street or for going too slow. That's garbage! ted
