Nice to see some good hearted sharing. I wonder how a "confessions" thread would go over around here? It would probably attract a lot of jokesters.

Alan.

I have asked you to explain your understanding of the "ages"

to me more than once I believe.

I have been thinking about our conversations and while I see
in you a level of maturity I find rare in most men, I think
you are the one clouded in judgement concerning the topic of universalism.

If you remember you confessed to me that you could not serve
or that in anger and disgust would not serve a God
who created men for the purpose of spending eternity in hell.

If memory serves me you called God a monster or something equivalent.

I would hope that you could see that it is you who has a problem.

I would have no problem serving and loving a God who forgave everyone.

I do not have to see Hitler suffer or my enemies get theirs.

If God so chose to forgive all men - who am I to argue.

I would rejoice - I am not constrained by my own misgivings
to believe what I believe - I think you are.

You suffer what Paul predicted you would suffer:

Romans 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me,
Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

According however to your theology - in the end
God does not find fault with any man but rather forgives ALL

Now I have discussed this with you to the point of nasea but
I am yet curious as to just how your system of ages works.

Is it oversight or are you reluctant to inform me?

I have but 3 basic divisions:

1. Eternal age in heaven
2. New Covenant age under Christ
3. Old Covenant ages under predictive shadows of Christ

What ages do you have or expect.

If you do not want to continue - I understand.

Brian
