Where did you hear that, outside the fruitcake-land of Michael Moore and company?

What? Those fruitcakes spoke for about 80% of the Democratic delegates, and most of Western Europe too, as far as I can tell. If you haven't heard the cries that the WOT is some vast over-reaction to a non-existent threat hatched by Cheney and the neocons to (pick one or more): a) subvert the Constitution and impose a fascist state b) dance at the end of Saudi strings c) dance at the end of Israeli strings d) impose the rightwing evangelical program on the whole world e) build an American empire, f) etc, etc

....then you haven't been reading Le Monde or The Guardian or The Nation or listened to anybody on the left for a long time. These guys are NOT asking themselves, 'how do we approach the civilization-threatening challenge of radical Islam?' No indeed. The only enemy they see, the one they declare in polls is the #1 Threat to World Peace, is President George W. Bush.

You forget that until Dean exhibited his mental instability, he was almost a shoo-in as the Dems' candidate. Had he not lost it on camera, Dean and the fruitcakes would be presently running the Democratic show.
