Personally, I found Miller's speech to say things that have needed to be said for a long time. The Bush Campaign has tiptoed around trying to be "nice" to Kerry all this time, while the Kerry campaign just bashed the hell out Bush.

It was refreshing to have someone really come out and say what needed to be said. The icing on the cake is the fact that this man was a committed lifelong Democrat whom the party had driven off into the (leftward) sunset and left behind.

It was great. Crazy? I think not. The Left could never get it, but Miller's speech was one of the best I've heard in years.
