No these virulent ant-American, anti-American Defense people were incubated by the likes of Kerry. You're saying that Kerry was right to disparage veterans as baby killers and right to disparage me as a baby killer.

Really, Wayne is pretty out there blaming all that on Kerry who was himself a veteran and probably experienced similar episodes.

Unlike Wayne though, John seems to have buried his hatred and replaced it with some understanding and empathy for the opinions of both sides. I'm the same. During the later stages of the war in Vietnam I was pretty pissed off at the troops, I though they should know by then that the war was unjust. Later I realized that I was wrong about the troops, by in large. Most were honorable, but most were ignorant, as most Americans are today, about the origins of the war. I'm sympathetic towards most Vets today, I think they were used by big business and people like the rabid Bush supporters here. Just like I think the soldiers at Abu Ghraib are taking the fall for the environment created by the Bush Administration (Specifically Rumsfelt).

These guys claim to be patriots but they have no problem at all attacking the average soldier when it is convenient.
