Unlike Kerry, Bush is certainly not going to brag about his secret Vietnam missions. They will remain secret. Secret missions should be, after all, secret.

Well, it looks like the liberal MSM is going to attempt to
make a mountain out of a molehill with one persons
allegations. Meanwhile, as many here & in the conservative
media/blogs have already noted, the MSM would likely jump
all over the allegations of 10 folks who claimed Bush
didn't show up for Guard duty.

The MSM first ignored, then lambasted 257 Vets & their eye
witness accounts for all they were worth. Now let's see
how they treat the allegations of one person how already
owns a smarmy reputation.

Kerry is dishonest re: Cheney! Look at what Kerry said in 1992 to support "Clinton who had No Military experience", and again what Kerry said in 2003. It is Kerry who again flipflops, and the media doesn't call him on it. Maybe the blogs will!!!

John Kerry’s War For U.S. Regime Change
April 28, 2003
by W. James Antle III

>>>>>>>>>Kerry was willing to support Bill Clinton against World War II heroes George Bush (41) and Bob Dole. When Clinton intervened militarily in Haiti and Kosovo, among other places, Kerry strongly supported him despite his lack of military service. If a president who never served can commit our troops to battle, what is wrong with a Republican congressman who never served criticizing a public statement by the senator?<<<<<<<<

Lead, Don't Divide
"I am saddened that Vietnam has yet again been inserted into the campaign."

(Editor's note: Sen. Kerry delivered this speech on the Senate floor Feb. 27, 1992.

The previous day, Sen. Bob Kerrey, a Vietnam veteran and candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, spoke in Atlanta, where he criticized fellow candidate Bill Clinton for his lack of military service during Vietnam.)

Mr Kerry's speech from 1992 is at the link above..........in part:

What saddens me most is that Democrats, above all those who shared the agonies of that generation, should now be refighting the many conflicts of Vietnam in order to win the current political conflict of a presidential primary.

The race for the White House should be about leadership, and leadership requires that one help heal the wounds of Vietnam, not reopen them; that one help identify the positive things that we learned about ourselves and about our nation, not play to the divisions and differences of that crucible of our generation.

We do not need to divide America over who served and how. I have personally always believed that many served in many different ways. Someone who was deeply against the war in 1969 or 1970 may well have served their country with equal passion and patriotism by opposing the war as by fighting in it. Are we now, 20 years or 30 years later, to forget the difficulties of that time, of families that were literally torn apart, of brothers who ceased to talk to brothers, of fathers who disowned their sons, of people who felt compelled to leave the country and forget their own future and turn against the will of their own aspirations?
