There is an OK big wave movie out now. But don't go. Laird Hamilton, executive producer of the film, acts the part of Laird Hamilton and portrays a self-licking ice-cream cone while his best friends, business associates and mother narrate. No joke. There was a GREAT surfing movie out about a year ago, STEP INTO LIQUID. A must see in the new boom-boom room. Rent it, it will be available. And stick around for the last 10 minutes shot off the Cortes Bank. A 2-week rental up here, for sure, though not so in Orange County. Hi to the gals.
