First even as a kid, I was never terrified by the term communists. Yes, to the leftists, these guys are just land reformers. Actually, they were in Nicaragua. Ortega was not a good president.......so he got the boot. Its as it should be. He set about to build a Communist client state of Soviet Union on American continent. But I understand you are in denial about the danger of something like that, as you probably are to the overall danger Communism posed. Look....I know your leaders scare the bejezus out of you with their stories about the dreaded commies stealing your children in the middle of the nite but for the rest of us we use our heads and think our way through the fear. Nicaragua is what....the size of RI? What you think they were going to do launch an invasion through Mexico? I will be proudly voting for Kerry come November! You would be smart to do likewise. Chances of that are zero, and I told you my main objection to Kerry (his pro-Sandinista activities). During primaries, I told you who I thought the Dem candidates were that were qualified: Gephard and Lieberman. The rest of them were too far to the left or nutcases. Not everyone in the middle and on the right is 100% satisfied with Bush. Democrats could have given these people a choice. Kerry will do.........he's first class material. Apparently, you've hung with Bush for so long you've forgotten what class is. <g> ted
