I think the thing between Matthews and Miller has mainly to do with the format of the interview (Matthews being on a noisy stage, Miller being on a remote location, on a noisy convention floor, and the whole thing was mainly a misunderstanding.

No... not quite it... he browbeats people the second he gets any inkling they're not answering his questions directly. That's "Hardball."
