Kerry had long maintained that he did not attend the 1971 meeting of Vietnam Veterans Against the War in Kansas City, Mo., where the assassination of U.S. senators was discussed. Kerry campaign spokesman David Wade said: "Kerry was not at the Kansas City meeting." Later, FBI (news - web sites) files showed Kerry was at the meeting. Now Kerry admits he was there.

ANOTHER Crap Minister lie exposed. AS claimed this morning that Kerry was never in Kansas City, and Kerry admits he was there. Crappy, you're just not in the inner circle anymore. Best you scurry on over to Chinu's circle (jerk).

Republicans launched their double-barreled attack on Bush's Democratic opponent as the president campaigned his way into the convention city, collecting the endorsement of the union representing New York's 8,600 firefighters, some of whom risked their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. His eyes misted as he stood among them and held a black fire helmet labeled "Commander in Chief."

No, the polling takes place every morning. Rasmussen's that is.

No offense, but Rasmussen begs to differ:

Three-quarters of the interviews for today's report were completed after Monday's Convention speeches by John McCain and Rudy Giuliani. Half were completed after the Tuesday speeches by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Laura Bush.

If there was a bump from Cheney and Miller, it is not in today's numbers.

Kerry not in KC? HAH!

The coverage of Kerry is mostly intermittently spread across memos dating from 1971. Much of the clandestine surveillance is composed of reporting made by unnamed confidential informants. The files chronicle: John Kerry's rise in status as a member of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, A growing ideological conflict with the more militant direction the VVAW was heading in, Travel to Paris for talks with North Vietnamese peace talk delegation, the "Kansas City" meeting, Kerry's pitched battle with VVAW leader Al Hubbard, and Kerry's dissolution as a leader of the VVAW in 1971.

The documents shed new light on some of Kerry's activities and contradict some statements his campaign previously made, including the timing of his resignation from the group and whether he participated in a controversial VVAW meeting in Kansas City, Mo., in November 1971. Campaign spokesman David Wade said Kerry had confused the Kansas City meeting with an earlier meeting in St. Louis.

Cliff, you have to calm down. You are going to blow a gasket.

It isn't that important. Get your priorities in order.
