I'm well-informed about Vietnam War history so don't try to BS me. By 1971, John Kerry was a great American hero for standing up agauinst that war. Nixon was not going to end it unless absolutely forced to, but it was already a lost cause in every way. Kerry also told the truth and DID NOT blame it on the troops, he only blamed the Nixon administration and top brass. Indeed, as McNamara later admitted they were lying to us all. The entire war was based on a bunch of lies.
