I think you should kind of tuck Mr. Lipscomb back under his patch of slime.
It appears that he's part of a project to identify families in the US who are of the exact same geneaology that Hitler promoted as "the master race".

Reconstructed Passenger Lists, 1683-1819

The Palatine Project is an attempt using sources from German speaking countries as well as early colonial American sources to reconstruct the passenger lists of Germans who came to America in the first large wave of emigration in the 18th century. These reconstructed lists will provide a "bridging the gap" tool for identifying the original emigrants to America and where they were from. This is an ambitious project and will probably be ongoing for many years. Its success will depend on contributions of information, finances, and other assistance from the public and genealogical communities.

And...gee...lo and behold...BakerBotts is involved:

Meeting on March 6 - At Baker & Botts brought together almost 40 people to explore possibilities for Governor's Island

Governor's Island Project

Although the primary project initially will be to reconstruct more complete passenger list of the Pennsylvania German Pioneers identified in Strassburger and Hinki's 1727-1808 lists, it is hoped that it will also include eventually reconstructed lists for New England, Nova Scotia, New York, Virginia, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina German settlements as well.

This site is meant to be a place where the origins of Germans that have already been established can be listed to help other researchers. It will be an ongoing project so that little by little additional lists will be added until all of the ships carrying early German settlers are included. Then as others submit the origins of families they have identified and additional sources are included, each of these lists will become more complete.

Not only will these reconstructed passenger lists give the town of origin, however where possible the names of the wife, children, and others in each family group will be listed as identified from German and early US/Canada sources. They will be listed with their age and occupation as listed in sources prior to their emigration, calculated to the year of emigration. Children who died before or born after the family emigrated will not be listed. This way the reconstructed lists will eventually be similar to how the passenger list would have looked if all this information was required at the time of emigration. The wifes' maiden names will be listed in parenthesis when known as this will be a very helpful source for identifying relationships between the emigrants which otherwise would not be obvious.

And just look at the FIRST title to appear on this list...
THE PIONEERS...just like shrub's dandiest contributors.
