No, I was just pointing out an obvious error!
and the aptness of hearty as opposed to hardy. Also, I was objecting to Ann's attempt to foist on me what hardy does not mean.

To be charitable, I wish to say that perhaps Ann's error stems from the way people tend to pronounce hearty with a dy instead of a ty sound.

Even though hardy laugh has appeared on a google link, it does not necessarily mean hardy was correctly used. I believe that hardy smacks of Hill-billy, Ozarky or Arky usage.
