You have to actually HEAR the quote. I did, and commented on it earlier... In #reply-20471547 ? Bush's first version presented in the interview is actually the more realistic one. German foreign minister Fischer made a similar statement these days - he expects the war on terror to last about as long as the Cold War, i.e. decades, and Bush isn't to blame for acknowledging the difficulty of getting rid of terror.
