From the tone of your latest posts I would say that it has caught you by surprise as well. I would also say that this is good, as much of this red meat will backfire on these guys.

How the heck do you handle that?

By saying what he would do, change as president. His only main issue has been his Vietnam service, which just brings to focus his shameful testiony accusing US soldiers of being war criminals.

BTW, according to some Vietnam Vets still angry at him and the Jane Fonda types, Kerry's defeat will be the homecoming parade they never received.
