other reasons that showed a pattern for Saddam. 1) Saddam attempted to have George H. Bush killed in Kuwait. 2) Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds. 3) Saddam killed thousands of Shiites. The grand total of all casualties is over 300,000. 4)Terrorists like Abu Nidal lived in Iraq. 5) Iraq was getting weapons form North Korea verified by Khadafi later. 6) Saddam had a chemical weapons expert on his staff. She was grad from a Missouri University.

SS, excellent summary of the story as I recall hearing it. I still think it was wrong, we should not have invaded Iraq. War should be the absolute last resort and we were not even close to being threatened in any way. We should be focusing on world peace. We should be working to provide medical care to everyone and to advance medical knowledge. We should be advancing energy research to reduce greenhouse gasses and to replace hydrocarbon as they dwindle away. Not killing people for no reason.
