the difference now, is that the Bin Laden model is to 1) destabilize the region 2) create a pan-Islamic state 3) obtain WMD 4) destroy Israel If you agree with that plan or don't care if they succeed then Kerry is your man.

Bush says he cannot win the war on terrorism. Let him speak for himself. Clinton and George Mitchell ended the terrorism in Ireland. CLinton came close in Israel. It won't be easy but with a smart diplomatic carrot and stick approach (including taking out some terroristas with extreme prejudice) we can win. We also need to start getting off Arab oil by replacing oil altogether as our priomary fuel. It's going to need to be done someday anyway so let's start now.
