Progen to be included in the S&P300 index from 20 Sep. 2004

Good luck to the index managers if they plan to re-weight to PGL / PGLAF.
This could cause a very nice squeeze in this tightly held stock.

A pity the portfolio is no longer available on SI.

PGLAF would have turned up as one of the star performers having increased 33% in value since it was added to the portfolio only a good month ago.

Still heading north in anticipation of a pending announcement about a deal with a large pharma.
A solid deal with major financial impact will do wonders for Progen.

Interested parties with informed opinions can participate in the active PGLAF debate on the Yahoo board.

The Progen chart is a picture worth looking at.
