Hi Bob,

GREAT to have you back, happy to hear to your trip to Alaska went well!

I'm starting to feel like a kid in the candy store with all the bargains being setup here. I too expect COHU to get down to $12 where I will begin to rebuild my position. You can also bank on my "backing up my Buick" if COHU gets down to $10 again. Oh, I do so hope they make it that easy.

I've already started buying back my LTXX position. The stock seems to be following the same pattern of trading that occured during it's bottoming process almost 2 years ago in 2002. I've pretty much given up trying to stay ahead of the underlying sector fundamentals. Seems easier to return to investing 101, buy low and sell high. It is a pretty safe case to say that most of the equipment stocks are near to their bottom now. If will not make too much difference if I buy LTXX at $5 or $4.25 when it comes time to sell at $12 - $15 in 24 months!

SBSE seems to be acting pretty well today given the overall weak technology sector. I keep hearing talk about weakness in wireless telcom infrastructure, keeps me from starting the rebuild process for my IRA SBSE position.

Nice to have you posting again, say something profound on the COHU thread. Everyone seems to be waiting for your return. Eric and I have tried to keep things alive, but we have no "following" like MR. COHU!

Chris

Hi Bob,

Well it looks like SBSE has warned again! Oh joy!

I was thinking your recent $9 purchases were looking pretty smart. They may still prove to be, but today is going to be the test!

It would sure be nice to see their markets firm up and stay good for more than a few months. Given what has been going on here and else where throughout the technology area, the multiples investors are likely to reward these companies in the future are likely to compare pretty poorly to the recent time period.

Hope everything is going well with you. I get a little worried when no one is posting on SI. Then and, maybe that is a good longterm signal!

Chris
