To my recollection it was not an attack by one nation on another at all but an attack of terrorists associated with Al-Quaida. Al-Quaida is not a nation but a violent political movement that has as a goal the destruction of western society to be replaced by a Caliphate. The means, at least for now, being used to advance the notion is terrorism and development of insurgency groups that can be grown to something more viable as progress on Al-Quaida objectives are advanced.

Pointing the finger at Iraq as a terrorist organization or mentioning that Iraq did not attack us is a distraction from the issue. Iraq is a country. Our enemy in Iraq was the regime of Saddam, which is not the country and no longer exists. However, insurgent groups, even armys are being cultivated on this tillage. Some associated with Al-Quaida and some opposing Al-Quaida (Al-Mahdi Army) and in opposition to Western society.

So whether Iraquis flew into my buildings or not, is hardly pertinent to the serious problems and threats at hand.

You know very well the terrorists were all Saudis. But you seem to have forgotten what President Bush said: "If you harbor terrorists, you ARE a terrorist."

This issue has been beat to death.
