I'll try one more time. I'm saying that using military force has almost nothing to do with "winning" the war on terror. I can, therefore, believe in a strong military and YET BELIEVE THAT THE STRONG MILITARY WILL NOT PROTECT US FROM TERRORISTS.

I hope that's clear. If you can wrap your mind around that distinction, then we could discuss ANY possible logical thought processes that would link having a strong military to being able to stop attacks like the one in Russia on the school.
