Those are some misguided people. Bush panders to them and sells them anger, Nationalism and fear.

It reminds me of right before the invasion of Iraq, the extremists had their followers so whipped into a Nationalistic fervor, that when I pointed out the intelligence appeared flawed (before the war), people shouted me down ... some old lady screamed at me: "Saddam lover".

Very scary.
