I would want as many captured as possible for slow execution on the square of their capital with worldwide publicity. There is nothing that can CAUSE people to sink to this level. I think this explains what is happening now. It is not an excuse but it is a reason for their actions,JMHO The old "cycle of violence" the media loves to use on the Israeli/Pal situation. I don't know how the Russians can get tougher. The only solution I see is to get them out of Russia. A "Get out of Dodge" ultimatum is probably coming for alien Chechnens.

It is not an excuse but it is a reason for their actions Couldn't disagree more. Nothing is acceptable as a "reason" for such wholesale murder. BTW, apparently among the terrorists were several Arabs - professional Jihad "warriors". What, specifically, have Russians done against THEIR "people/families/children"? What was the purpose of this seemingly crazy operation? Could they be so cynical as to intend on purpose to provoke harsh reprisals from Russians, which would anger and radicalize Muslims elsewhere -- and add fuel to the global "Jihad"?
