>"Congress has shown little appetite for vigorous investigations of alleged Israeli spying."

Uccchhh... I'm disappointed. As I've said before, I'm not upset with Israel for spying on us; we spy on tons of countries and tons of countries spy on us... it's just part of the international intelligence game.

However, part of the international intelligence game is also trying to keep other countries from spying on us, and if Congress doesn't try to keep Israel from spying on us because it's one of our friends, or because Israel is a Jewish state or because evangelicals believe it's got a role in the rapture, then Congress isn't fulfilling its duties to the American people.
