Voters claim they don't like negative advertising...Yet, it seems that aggressive and deceptive negative advertising works....Don't count Kerry out yet...Americans still have grave doubts about this war in Iraq and Kerry is a known to be a closer who performs well when his back is up against the wall.

That's just ONE poll. Cheer up. Bush has worked very hard to smear Kerry and make him seem a worse alternative for fearful Americans than the record Bush hides from. It's up to Kerry to put the spotlight back on the last four years of failure.

Relax and give Kerry a chance to respond.

Dukakis came out with a double digit lead. And that bounce was in spite of the prevailing mood of "good days ahead." at the end of the Reagan presidency.

The Bush bounce you see is the result of the firing up of the Republican base along with the undecideds who get swayed with the rhetoric and pageantery of any convention. At the end of the Democratic convention, the undecideds told the pollsters that they were impressed with Kerry and would vote for Kerry. Now they are saying they are impressed with Bush and would vote for Bush. No big deal. Their elasticity is why the pollsters consider then as "swing voters" or "undecideds."

From here on out, whoever is a better fighter wins. Kerry has proven himself to be a very good fighter and I am confident he will come out swinging.
