Beat you by one minute! Damn. I should have waited five minutes before making a cup of tea. This has to be one depressing weekend for the Kerry camp. Kerry needs to shake up his staff and do it quickly. Quick is not a Kerry strong point. About two weeks ago Joe Scarborough suggested that they bring Carville on board to run the campaign. They need someone who is mean, nasty and whip smart. Carville has all three attributes. It would also fire up the base. Regardless of how large the lead is at the end of the weekend, I don't see the Bush people letting up the pressure.
