That is true. They can't challenge them on every lie and distortion, there are only 24 hours in any given day, but they surely need to point out at least the most outrageous ones.

A good start would to annotate the the transcripts for the various speeches that were made at the RNC. With links to the actual sources. Then make up some sort of "veracity index" where weights are assigned to deliberate mis-statements, distortions and out right fabrications and rank each speech, each a different color and the appropriate text is highlighted in that color. Call it the "Pinocchio Factor". Each different person can have his own PF, each speech can get a PF, there can be colorful little graphs showing individual and party PF changing over time and concerning certain events...

They need to be outed.
