That demonstrates the beauty of the internet...truth gets out against all odds.

The AP has a leftist slant, to say the least; it was taken over by them (the Left) some time ago. Many newspapers across the country subscribe to its "service," so you see lots of "AP" or "Associated Press" attributions to articles in your local paper.

My father, a WWII vet, was an AP journalist after the war --decades ago, and he was a political speechwriter among other things after that.

He wretches over what the AP is today.

AP's antics are hardly a tribute to journalism, to the truth, to the country that has shed blood to allow organizations like the Associated Press to survive, or to the US Citizens it purports to serve.

The leftist AP is willing to send cadres of lawyers to court, wearing Brooks Brothers pinstriped suits and monogramed white dress shirts, but when was the last time the AP encouraged its employees to enlist in the armed services and fight to the death in order to preserve free speech?

Doesn't the AP consider Al-Qaeda's stated goals to be a threat to free speech?

I think that's what Zell Miller was talking about the other night.
