OK, the glaciers aren't melting, the ice pack isn't breaking up, our thermometers are wrong, trees are polluters, mercury is good for you, and one plus one is two only sometimes.

Quit defending the pollution lobby and their massive disinformation campaign to try and make us believe that the earth's climate is not being badly damaged by their mega tons of filth in our air. Bush firmly supports the pollution lobby but that doesn't mean you should.

J.B.C. It's certainly a complicated issue but my 1st thought is to ask why global emissions would NOT have an effect on the atmosphere? I'm sure research funds have been ripped off by universities & think tanks on the subject as they always are. However, isn't the logical conclusion that chemicals, etc from the emissions would naturally alter earth's atmosphere & possibly melt the polar ice caps? This issue like so many others is more complicated than a blanket statement that emissions have no effect. Global corporations fight emission standards because they eat into their profits.

Current Golden Rule of Capitalism: "Thou shalt not prevent Global Corps from grabbing every cent of profit possible OR expect them to be responsible in return to the earth's inhabitants!!"
