I said "Euro," not "Germany," JJ. That criticism came from a Dutch leader of the EU, I believe. And yes, we are too PC here. That one example in Egypt is by a guy who is probably hiding from his countrymen. The number one example I read in the ME was a Alatolla who is blaming the "Joooews" for Beslan. Our, and your, Muslim clerics are silent. They may make a "pro forma" statement of sorrow, but they won't condemn the Jihadists. It's like dealing with Arafat.
