The roots of 9/11 are in the Israeli-Palestenian conflict and the presence of the US on Saudi Arabian peninsula. If we solve these two issues then the threat will diminish considerably. Several years ago I would have agreed with you. But I think the hatred has transcended those issues, and has become its own issue. Of course, the chance that we will withdraw our support from Israel and our oil interests from Saudia Arabia is something less than zero no matter who's elected President.

What are the roots for all the children murdered by muslin killers in Russia? What were the roots of the invasion of India by muslim hordes hundreds of years ago? What were the roots for the invasion of most of Europe by muslim hordes hundreds of years ago? ETc. Etc. Etc. Islam hates all who are not like them and believe as they do...hate for non muslims is taught in their schools....their own leaders have stated this. Muslims were exterminating Jews hundreds of years ago. Muslims have always hated jews.....maybe because mohamed had to use the parts of the Jewish religion to form islam. 9/11 happened because islam fanatics hate Americans and their free way of life and see this as a threat to their stupid outdated religious customs which according to some islam leaders MUST be changed. IMO islam as it is can not exist with a modern free and civilized world.
