Why not-- Bill Clinton timed his health problem correction at a time to easily distance himself from Kerry instead of campaigning for him! Bill always did have a good sense of timing -g-. But I don't think even he would have bypass surgery for an excuse. Who, Bill, need excuses? Bill can talk his way into or out of any position he chooses.

I see that Nadine just replied exactly the same way I would have....Even Bill wouldn't resort to a 4-way by-pass....just to avoid campaigning for Kerry. But it certainly is interesting timing, isn't it. Wonder if Bill Clinton will have round the clock help, or if he will be like everyone else who has that kind of surgery....You're on your own baby, in just a very few days, baby.... Another reason that I've been advocating having individuals and small business have access to LARGE groups to spread risk....just like the Government and Big Business has for its employees...(Government defines small business as under 500 employees....but the BIGGEST bulk of new business starts are under 5 employees...!!!)
