One thing I have learned is just how down and dirty the far right can be. And one thing I've learned is just how down and dirty BOTH the far right AND the far left can be. Not all of them on either side. There are honorable people at every point on the political spectrum. And there are dishonorable ones. But somehow, the rhetoric seems to get shriller as you move out from the center, no matter which direction you go. Right OR left.
