Just Noting for the Record
The following Islamic Clerics have wasted no time in speaking out condemning the massacre of children in Russia by a group of Chechen and foreign Arab mercenary terrorists.

I heard Justin Webb of the BBC make a few comments on the radio about the RNC convention.

He admired RNC discipline and enthusiasm. He said that when the cameras were switched off, RNC enthusiasm exceeded DNC enthusiasm. To illustrate it, he noted that as he wandered the empty convention floor looking for campaign souvenirs, he found lots of Kerry-Edwards fliers but no Bush-Cheney fliers - the delegates had taken them all home.

He was startled to find himself quoted on an RNC video. A few years ago, he had noted that "few leaders spend as much time on their knees as George W. Bush". He said he had meant it semi-ironically, but the line had been taken as a straight-up endorsement on the back of an RNC video on Bush's faith.

My comment: Don't feel bad, Justin. We Americans have been taking your British jibes for complements ever since "Yankee Doodle."
