You are really mixing apples and oranges.

I think you are evading my question.

Fighting armies is one thing. Deliberately targeting civilians for terrorism is quite another.

Or maybe you aren't. Should I infer an answer? Are you saying that you would never condone the targeting or civilian occupiers of the US such as the Islamicists I had proposed as a hypothetical? If so, I am surprised and fascinated.

read the international laws for the conduct of hostilities.

I know what the international law is. Are you saying that you would let this country fall to Islamicists rather than break international law?

<<< I recall only two American men, who lived in my lifetime, who have admitted committing barbaric acts of terrorism against civilians.

William Calley
John Kerry

Before you try to invent a new wheel, read the international laws for the conduct of hostilities.>>>

I would sacrifice my support for John Kerry and support you for Secretary of Defense, if not Commnader-in-Chief, if you can persuade me that no other Americans will commit barbaric acts of terrorism against civilians (foreign or domestic)- and that you would conduct US military acitivities in a manner (in accordance with US interests) according to the spirit and letter of international laws.
